Chair of the board of directors
Are you a visionary leader with a passion for Football? Do you have the skills to guide and inspire a dynamic team? If so, we invite you to apply for the position of Chair of the Board of Directors at Herefordshire Football Association (HFA).
HFA was formed in 1893 and is the not-for-profit governing body for football in Herefordshire, responsible for governing, developing and supporting the game across the County.
HFA employs a core team of 6 and operates from recently redeveloped facilities at the SSAFA County Ground in Hereford, which include a state-of-the-art 3G pitch.
The HFA team delivers across its core areas of Football Development (players, facilities, coaches and workforce), Football Services (affiliation, facility hire and league support) and Safeguarding, delivering to 6000 players as well as coaches, referees, volunteers, clubs and leagues.
HFA are looking to appoint a Chair of the Board of Directors responsible for the leadership of the Board, as well as being accountable to the members of the HFA.
The Chair will be able to motivate and bring the best out of a passionate group of Directors and enable the Board to deliver its strategic role over the next 4 years, whilst providing effective governance for our business.
Please note this a voluntary role which is not accompanied by any financial remuneration.

We are excited to offer a unique opportunity to join the Herefordshire Football Association Hereford FC Girls' Emerging Talent Centre and make a real impact. We are willing to consider applications from those interested in Emerging Talent Centre role only.
The aim of the centre is to create a safe, positive, football environment for talented players and aspiring coaches from Herefordshire, with a participant centred focus. The centre is designed to not only support and develop players and coaches, but also to benefit Clubs across the County. Players will be actively encouraged to continue playing grassroots football, with the centre providing them with additional training and games.

Job Vacancy (Voluntary): Committee member of the Herefordshire FA Womens League
The Herefordshire FA Womens League have an exciting new opportunity to join the Herefordshire FA Womens League Management Committee.
The role will involve attending League Committee meetings which are held no more than once every quarter, with an AGM every summer. The Management Committee oversee and administer the league, finalises disputes and develop the existing structure etc. The role of Herefordshire FA Womens League Committee Member is a non-paid role.
