Coaching Support
Supporting your coaching journey.
The development and enjoyment of football is dependent on those people coaching players at all levels of the national game. Both professional and volunteer coaches are fundamental to the delivery of football in Herefordshire and we are here to provide them with as much help and support as possible.
With this support we aim to ensure all coaches and players have a great experience - regardless of age, gender, ethnicity, religion or ability.
In this section you'll find all the support initiatives and training opportunities available to help you improve as a coach, be safe in your coaching and environments you create, and access on the ground support when you need it. So you don't have to go it alone.
SAFEGUARDING IS EVERYONE’S RESPONSIBILITY
Everyone in football has a responsibility to make our game safe and enjoyable.
This is particularly true for coaches. A coach is in a privileged position. The nature of the role means he/she can have significant influence over children and young people and develop relationships of trust with children and their parents/carers. It’s therefore important that coaches understand their safeguarding responsibilities.
Find out how The FA and the Herefordshire FA manages safeguarding nationally and locally. You’ll also find detailed information on the game’s safeguarding strategy, and how it applies to you.
