Study and Play Futsal Full Time at The Hereford Academy
This unique programme provides 16-18 year olds the chance to develop both; academically, by achieving a nationally recognised BTEC Sport Qualification; and practically, through specialist futsal coaching and then play against other competing academies and colleges playing in the National Futsal League.
As an introductory offer, there is a taster day at The Hereford Academy, where you can find out more about this exciting new programme on Thursday 9th July 2015, from 10.30 am – 2.30 pm.
Early booking is advised as demand is expected to be high and applications will be received from students across Hereford and beyond. Any student booking a place for themselves and a friend will receive a free gift on the day !

Futsal Taster Day, Timings of the Day
10.30 am Welcome and Introduction
10.40 am Fitness Testing
11.30 am Theory Side – All about BTEC Sport
12.30 am Lunch (Bring packed lunch and plenty of drinks)
1.00 pm Futsal Coaching & Techniques
2.30 pm Games
3.15 pm Finale
On the day participants will need to wear sportswear, suitable for fitness and games activities, along with snacks, packed lunch and plenty of drinks. If it is a hot day a hat, and sunscreen will be essential.
