We are delighted to announce that Herefordshire FA will be hosting Pete Sturgess, FA Coaching Lead for players aged 5-12, for a special England DNA Coaching event on Monday July 16th. This exciting opportunity will take place at Hereford Football Club on Monday 16^th July 6:30- 9:30pm and is not to be missed.

We are fortunate to have Pete Sturgess visiting the county to deliver CPD for our coaches based around the Foundation Phase and England DNA. Pete has been pivotal in the design and development of the England DNA Foundation phase and is currently touring the country to promote and help implement this fantastic resource. The Foundation Phase resources and supporting CPD event are designed to help coaches, parents and volunteers with the development of our youngest players (aged 5-11) at all levels of the game.

Pete will be supported by our FA County Coach Developer Lee Brown to introduce key messages and principles of the England DNA for young players through a mix of

• Theory presentations
• Practical demonstrations and activity
• Q&A

This is a great opportunity for coaches from across Herefordshire to receive some guidance and support on the England DNA which underpins some of the great work already taking place that supported our U17’s and U20’s 2017 World Cup winning teams.
