Become a Referee with Herefordshire FA
Refereeing is a fantastic way to stay involved in the game. Perhaps you still play or coach but could referee on another day? Maybe you have recently retired and would like to stay involved? You can also keep fit and earn some extra cash by becoming a referee.
There is often a perception that refereeing ‘is not worth the hassle’. Our FA tutors will give you all of the tools you need to deal with poor behaviour (which does happen sometimes, unfortunately). However, you will be amazed by the support networks available to referees and we would love to have you on board.
Learners must complete both The FA Laws of the Game modules and The FA Safeguarding Children qualification prior to booking a place on a course. The Laws of the Game modules and Safeguarding qualification are both accessed online, with further details available in our Trainee Referee Guide that can be downloaded here.
