How did you feel when you heard about winning the grassroots award for 2024? 

I was Absolutely over the moon to hear the news, it was very unexpected. 

What is your favourite thing about your role within local football in Herefordshire?

Seeing the youngsters are able to learn from my years of experience as a player, manager and referee. Also being able to pass on my experience. 

What are you aspirations for local football in Herefordshire?

To encourage players to enjoy their game and learning and hope they gain knowledge and stay in the game, as much as I have and still do.

What encouraging words would you have for anyone wanting to get involved within local football?

Listen to your peers. Train hard, work hard and the game becomes enjoyable and fun. It's also important to have respect for your coaches, referees and fellow team mates.
